Need Permission?

This Mother’s Day weekend, give yourself permission.…to relax and enjoy being alive.

“My heart is not proud, Lord,
my eyes are not haughty;
I do not concern myself with great matters
or things too wonderful for me.
 But I have calmed and quieted myself,
I am like a weaned child with its mother;
like a weaned child I am content.” (Psalm 131:1-2)

Thought for the day:

The quickest way for a parent to get a child’s attention is to sit down and look comfortable.” ~Lane Olinghouse

I'd like to say I've changed, but after decades of living, I still have the same four passions. My relationship with Jesus, spending time with family, attending live theater, and writing devotions & first-person stories about a loving, faithful God who reveals Himself in our every day circumstances.
